Thanks again for joining POSE. We wanted to share a final announcement to congratulate you on completing the POSE program and discuss the next steps. We have been inspired by going on this learning journey with you and we have learned a lot from your discussions and activities.
Program Completion
We hope that participating in POSE has been a valuable experience for you. For those of you who are interested in completing the course and receiving a certificate of achievement, POSE activities will remain open until the end of day August 31st, 2025. In order to receive the certificate of completion, you need to complete each of the unit learning activities and confirm this by filling out this POSE completion form.
We will send an announcement for those who completed the program on how to access their PDF Certificate of completion in mid September.
Course Resources
The main POSE course site will remain open as a resource for you to refer back to or to share with others. Except where otherwise noted, the content is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Please reuse, revise, and remix! We have also included a link to a WordPress .xml export file that contains all of the content for the entire site so that you can use and adapt the course by importing it into your own WordPress or Pressbooks sites.
POSE Evaluation and Feedback
If you have not already done so, please take a few minutes to complete the POSE Program evaluation survey. Your feedback and comments are really important. We will be revising the program and we are eager to hear your feedback on what went well and what might be improved.

Interested in staying involved with open scholarship at UBC? Join the Open UBC Working Group—an informal community of UBC faculty, students, and staff dedicated to sharing ideas, collaborating on projects, and advancing advocacy for open scholarship. The group originally launched the POSE initiative and continues to be a hub for open scholarship activity at UBC.
Meetings are held on the last Monday of each month (excluding August). Register for upcoming fall meetings here:
