Thanks again for joining the POSE 2023. We wanted to share a final announcement to congratulate you on completing the POSE program and discuss the next steps. We have been inspired by going on this learning journey with you, and have learned a lot from your reflections, discussions, and projects.
Program Completion
We hope that participating in POSE has been a valuable experience for you. We have now emailed the certificates out to those who completed the program requirements. Please contact us if you have not received yours.
Program Resources
The Canvas course is now archived but will stay open until January 1, 2023 so that you can continue to access the course discussions. The main POSE WordPress course site will remain open as a resource for you to refer back to as reminders, or to share with others. We have also included a link to a WordPress .xml export file that contains all of the content for the entire site so that you can use and adapt the course by importing it into your own WordPress or Pressbooks sites.
POSE Evaluation
If you have not already done so, please take a few minutes to complete the POSE Program evaluation survey. Your feedback and comments are really important. We will be revising the program and we are eager to hear your feedback on what went well and what might be improved.
But Wait, There’s More Pose
POSE isn’t completely over – at the end of the summer, we launched a new optional unit focused on developing a project that applies what you have learned during the POSE program in a practical way. The unit is meant to support you in critically thinking about the POSE content, selecting an area of interest, setting practical goals, and completing those goals with the potential for long-term application in your practice. The unit contains project examples, a project outline template, and a discussion forum. We’ll be having a drop-in session on September 20th if you’d like chat or get support on any open scholarship plans or projects. Additionally, during Open Access Week in October, we’ll be hosting lightning talks for any POSE participants who planned or implemented projects. Sign up now
